(The fee will always be a function of how long your receivables are outstanding - prudent owners/mgrs can therefore reduce financing costs by effective A/R mgmt)

( Hint – it’s their version of cash mgmt!)

They have effectively ' minded the gap'! Although the majority of companies out there can't achieve ' negative cash gap ' (receive full payment before they pay suppliers) those that can effectively finance the gap as well as manage assets are... winners.
